Polycom pvx sip setup
Hi I would like to know how to setup the sip credentials on my Polycom VVX so I can start using my phone to make and receive phone calls. Hi Accent,. You can find anything you need to get ready. Hello Accent , welcome back to the Polycom Community. Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience. I've asked a question quite similar to this in the past but I could not figure out how to get my voip provider working on my Polycom phone.
I decided to buy a different brand phone which works. Now I would like to see if I can figure out how to get this Polycom to work and not have wasted my money.
I have from my voip provider the sip hostname, username, and password but now I am lost on how to enter these into my Polycom phone so I can use it in my office.
The thread you and the other person have provided do not help me and I've read countless threads online and on the forum with little success. On top of that, I cannot even open the web configuration using the ip address from Polycom. Any idea how I can enter my sip credentials into my phone? Try to get access to the GUI and fill in your provider dates like it is described in my first post. Sign In Help. Turn on suggestions.
Please check with your Gatekeeper Administrator for the information in this field. You can continue the default number and then update the Extension at a later date. After all fields are populated, click Next.
If you do not have either server on your network, you can leave these fields blank. Polycom automatically fills in the gab. This will allow you to test and see how this feature may benefit you. Note: In order for the Austin Directory to show up for you, check the box in front of Register with this Server. The appropriate network configuration to allow communication with a GMS Global Address Book server will also need to be set up on your network.
VideoMail is a feature of the software that allows you to send Video Email. The VideoMail Setup window helps you to determine if you can play the video correctly.
Follow the onscreen instructions to play the video PVX contain an embedded Web-based user interface. In order for the Web Server to function you will need to set an Administrator password and configure the Web server to auto start when the software and camera start. The Web UI allows you to remotely control your camera and software.
This provides the opportunity to select a specific Audio Input Line for your Local audio. You will also be prompted to tell the setup how your camera is connected to your computer for Audio.
The Software will accept audio input from several sources. Pick the setup that you prefer.
