Sims 3 will not start after launcher

If it's the same one anyway, the solution is pretty simple once we were able to nail down what was getting stuck running. I've been getting this. If you open the task manager you will see sims launcher is running. Why, I don't know. Right click on it, then end task. Or just restart your computer. T View Profile View Posts. I've discovered this is actually from the sims launcher running in the background.

The file is named Sims3Logs. It is located in the TS3 user game folder in Documents where your saved games, mods, etc. Some claim that the permissions should also be changed on another file in the same location, Sims3LauncherLogFile. You do need to login. Then, install your expansions one by one. With the newer versions of Sims 3 past Sept. You can still install from disc without having to download but you do need to make an Origin account and active the game. Log out of and quit Origin. Restart your Mac then open and log back in to Origin. Right-click the launcher for Sims 3 and select Properties. Clearing the cache for Sims 3 might erase corrupted files there.

February I have tried everything, going to the TS3 file and opening from that, running files as administrator, trying to open from origin. Please help, I'm not the most computer savvy person and I just want to play my game.
